Drama and Delight
Discover the award-winning Terra String Quartet performing Beethoven’s F-major Quartet, with its second movement inspired by Romeo and Juliet’s tomb scene. Enjoy Mendelssohn’s second Concert Piece, performed by Festival favorites Diane Walsh, Peggy Pearson, and J. Lawrie Bloom. And delight in Dvořák’s third String Quintet, the “American,” written during a summer in Iowa and incorporating themes of Native American traditional music and dance.
