Festival Finale
Enjoy virtuosic playing in a performance of Haydn’s Quartet in F major, arranged by oboist Peggy Pearson. Experience the final appearance of the Terra String Quartet performing Britten’s second String Quartet, a work considered one of the most important string quartets of the twentieth century. And take great delight in the Festival Finale’s concluding work, Mendelssohn’s exuberant second String Quintet that sails through to a crowd-pleasing conclusion.
