Soulful Storytelling
Experience the lyrical charm of Walter Rabl’s E-flat major Quartet, featuring clarinetist J. Lawrie Bloom, violinist Hye-Jin Kim, cellist Marcy Rosen, and pianist Diane Walsh. Enjoy Beethoven’s energetic and passionate C-minor String Trio, and take delight in the “symphonic” sound of César Franck’s Piano Quintet in F minor, a work that expresses Franck’s unfulfilled love for his young composition student, Augusta Holmès.
